We're A 'Kid' With a Fine Reputation, And Growing Up Quickly!

The golf course at The Club of Old Hawthorne opened on May 19, 2007. As you can see, we are a relative babe in terms of golf course longevity. But we're already on the right track for immortality ...

We have been selected to host Missouri Open, breathing new life into a traditional tourney favorite that had been shelved for a few years.

While the course is new, the property has great history.
The Club at Old Hawthorne sits on 631 acres of what was once a horse farm, hence the horse featured in our logo. So, where stallions once romped and homed the rolling hills, today golfers stride manicured fairways and families select wooded lots to put down their own roots.

The original portion of the clubhouse was built in 1938 as an exact replica of President Andrew Jackson's home, "The Hermitage."

We remodeled the interior, increasing its space from 6,000 to 30,000 square feet, with many of the original hardwood floors buffed to a new gleam.

We converted sitting rooms to offices, but for the most part kept the rooms intact. The first two rooms you see as you enter - a dining room and living room - were brought up to modern code but outfitted to reflect their Colonial roots.
